Terms of Use / Privacy Policy for Call and SMS Tracker

Welcome to ‘Call and SMS Tracker' Android application's Privacy Policy

Once user install the app and accept the Terms Of Use after launching the app, users are bound by the following working of the app.
Once the user explicitly gives permission to collect call, SMS and location information, the app collects Call/SMS/location information of the device in the background (i.e even when the app is not in foreground or opened) whenever there is an incoming call/sms or outgoing call/sms. Users can view their Call/SMS/location information by using the app. Users can choose to disable the collection of Call/SMS/location information by using the check box in the main view of the app. These information will *not* be published over internet unless you request for it from our server. The information will be stored securely in the mobile. Once the user explicitly requests for the call and SMS information by logging into our server only then the call, SMS and location info will be sent to the server in encrypted format.

WORKING OF THE APPLICATION

The app works as follows

1. Every time user receives a call/SMS or user make a call or send SMS, the location information of the mobile is fetched.

2. All the Call/SMS/location visited along with the time will be shown by using Google Map locally.

3. User can log in into our server and then request for their Call/SMS/location history and the server will send a GCM command and fetch the Call/SMS/locaton history of user's device. User can see their Call/SMS/location history from our website.

DATA COLLECTED

Following data are collected once user gives permission to collect these data
1. Call info - Number/name of the person who made the incoming call or to whom the outgoing call is made and duration of the call
2. SMS info - Number/name of the person who sent the incoming sms or to whom the outgoing sms is sent and content of the sms
3. Location Info - Location information of the device whenever the call was made/received or the sms was sent/received

USAGE OF THE DATA
The data is saved in the device. Once the user requests for the data by logging into our website, the data is passed to the server and saved in server which is kept in US.
The data saved is only used to display it to the user/owner of the device and no one else.
The data is saved only for a period of  6 months after which the data is erased from the server and also from the app on the device.
User can decide what data needs to be saved and when it can be deleted by using options in the app's settings.
No data is shared to anyone other than the user of the device.

To be in compliance with Google Play Policy the app will be showing notification in notification bar whenever request for details is received and uploaded to website. Call/SMS/Location details will not be uploaded automatically it will be pulled only when user logs in to the website and request for pull. All information is stored securely in server in human unreadable format and the server and database is located in US. Users can optout any time and clear the details from server either through mobile or from website. The app cannot be used as spy app as the icon cannot be hidden and notifications cannot be disabled. Please read EULA carefully before accepting.

This app is in compliance with latest GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). The list of data collected and how it is used is mentioned in this privacy policy.

Any data breaches will be reported to both our customers and the DPC within 72 hours.
